The afternoon sun slanted in through the window as we sipped on a perfectly fruity torrontes at my latest stop around the neighb, Penelope Cafe. Think chicken pot pie, mac 'n' cheese, homemade meatballs-- a rustic country kitchen with all the comforts of home.  Do stop by if you're in the Murray Hill/Kips Bay area.

Heads up! I enjoyed a leisurely lunch, but if you're feeling brunchy be prepared for a crowd!
