The Man Behind Society Social

I'm really so excited to introduce y'all to the man behind Society Social and My Cup of Te! Head over to Victoria's to see Alan in her popular series, "The Man Behind the Blog." He is characteristically quite reserved and not the biggest sharer (yes, we are complete opposites!!), so I relished reading his answers :) He has been unconditionally supportive in all my Society Social endeavors and 100% gives me entirely too much credit in the interview so only believe half of what he says.

The Damsel in Dior's Mad Men Inspired Bar Cart

It is my most absolute delight to see my designs in real homes, stylish ones at that, aiding and abetting in the revival of cocktail hour and the increased consumption of the classic martini. Jacey (isn't she the cutest?) who pens one of my favorite style blogs, The Damsel in Dior, drew inspiration from Mad Men when styling her very own Sedgewick bar cart. I'm so honored to have such fabulous customers!

800 Square Feet & Fabulous

Interior Designer, Ashley Whittaker's, take on this 800 square foot NYC apartment is design perfection. I am just blown away by how she worked her small space- keeping in mind the flow of the rooms, incorporating multifunctional pieces, and being completely fearless in her use of color, pattern, and print. We only have our 400 square feet to work with and have been living in the finished space for just a few months, but I'm totally tempted to start over. Design is never done, right? Our lease comes up next year!

New Arrival at Society Social! Don't laugh, or do...

I designed a footstool. Get it?! Obviously, I think I am hilarious. Colleen whipped up this delicious round-up and put her to use better than I could have imagined. Meet Paloma in all her glory in this new installment in the Room Recipe column-- "Closet Chic!"
