Today's Mantra

The darling make-up artist from Society Social's first shoot that happened yesterday (yay! See a few sneak peek pics here)had a wrist tattoo that I found totally lovely. It said "Gather the Roses" in Latin. She explained it's from one of her favorites poems and refers to gathering life's moments like flowers, to live life to its fullest potential. Today is going to be particularly jam packed so I've decided I'm going to focus on gathering the roses ;)

Bobbi is Ba-nanas

It's true. I'm a Bobbi Brown fanatic. You'll be hard pressed to find many other brands besides Ms.Brown's in my makeup bag. With that said, I must share that I super heart the latest collection. Bobbi says, "This collection was inspired by the gorgeous sun-kissed look you get after a day at the beach, one of my favorite places. It's quick, easy, and simple- what summer is all about." So whether you're frolicking at the coast or not, I say that this collection is so ness.

I have a thing for hats. I heart the classics and have a special affinity for the slightly ridiculous. This wonderfully white and truly refreshing look from Ralph Lauren's Summer 2011 look book is definitely fit for the Millinery Marvelous!

The Burning House

My brother sent me this story about a spin off on the popular sharing topic "What's in your purse?"
