MOTIVATION.

Ohh-lio!

This morning I discovered a Polyvore for interiors called Olioboard. So exciting! I was immediately drawn to the name as Olio is a dee-licious (seriously. mouth-watering.) seafood restaurant my family and I frequent during our stays on the islands. My curiosity was piqued once I made the nostalgic connection and upon further disovery I realized you can build your own "dream" rooms, throw together beyond fabulous inspiration boards, and shop to your imagination's content without spending a dime. Basically, I had to pry myself away...

p.s. Did you know Olio means miscellaneous mixture or hodgepodge? I had to look it up after my parents took us there for the first time. Just thought you'd like to know :)

Jello or Creme brulee?

One day I aspire to a dressing room because plainly closets are overrated. It's kind of like that analogy in My Best Friend's Wedding- jello or crème brûlée? Jello is nostalgic and kind of like the old familiar closet you've always had and grown up with, but crème brûlée is the full on experience- cooler, fresher, and definitely more covetable. I'd rather be the latter ;) What will you be having?

p.s. Stay tuned! I will be announcing the giveaway winner later today!

Dear Jenna, Will you please make these in my size?

Grosgrain Ballet Flats

This past weekend I was at J.Crew with the Mr. looking to find a new get up for this event when I got sidetracked (it really doesn't take much) by the little girls section. I desperately pleaded with the sales lady to see if little baby grosgrain came in my size and received an "Are you crazy, lady?" look. Wouldn't you wear them too? I also seriously contemplated buying these...

Bloom Punch and Pom Pom

Do you totally agree with me? Or do I need to grow up?

Can't get enough of the little munchkins? Zara Kids is serously rockin' it these days!

No. 16 and No.17

Blair and Emma all trousered out!
No. 16 Wear more trousers.
Rolled, skinny, or wide leg. Grey, white, dark, and light. I do so very much adore my blue jeans and am beyond guilty of wearing them on the daily. I'm ready to mix it up and Blair from Atlanta Pacific and Emma Roberts in Jenny Packham are prime, stylin' examples as to why you should too. So menswear, but yet so feminine, and over the top lovely.

A fitting with YSL
No. 17 Rekindle it with my tailor.
Everyone should have one in their address book. Fit is totally key and all store bought clothes are going to be made to fit the average. Ever notice how the Sartorialist lists their go-to tailors? Yep, take it from the experts. And since I'm a teensy bit below average height, my new trousers are going to need the help of my awesome tailor, Rosa, who unfortunately I haven't seen in months. Shame. on. me.

p.s. Have you entered my giveaway for a chance to win $40?

Bright & Bold

Camilla Belle at the Gucci and RocNation Pre-Grammy Brunch at Soho House
Pairing more than two bright colors together versus balancing them with neutrals can get pretty tricky, but Camilla Belle pulls of this exotic color combo with a touch of gold and lots of style. She makes what can very easily look like a crayon box exploded bold, sexy, and chic. Did you really expect any less out of Gucci?

A little help from the Mrs.?

To the indispensable Mrs. and stylist extraordinaire,
I'm writing you in hopes for some advice debonair!

You see, at month's end there is a fete- oh, c'est chic!
I must look daring and dashing, it is a fab frock that I seek!

From the east to the west, first impressions shall be made
I must dress, yes! My best! I've got no time for charades.

Through press and pr, news and photos will be spread,
of the soiree, in its glory, via world wide web!

So while chin-chinning slash cheers-ing, I want to sparkle and shine,
like a star of a show, the light of the lime!

Alas! Mrs. Oh-marvelous, please style me out head-to-toe
But the piggy bank must not break, a minor deat you must know.

Enchante dear Mrs. and Merci beacoup in advance!

Love,
Mrs. Cup of Te(a)

What is this you might ask? Well before attending the Rue party, I sent out an s.o.s. to the dear Mrs.Lilien in case she might have advice c'est chic for my party attire. She has been quite the busy bee so did not have time to respond and by this point, I've another event to attend! By ill, uncontrollable forces, my lined up dress is no longer lined up, (Sound the sirens! Fashion emergency!) so to all my Mrs. Cup of Te readers, I'm extending this to you! What would you wear to a charity gala? It's at the private residence of a certain celeb so think Hollywood glam!

p.s. Have you entered my giveaway? Don't miss a chance to win $40 towards whatever tickles your fancy!
