Major Coral Crush

J.Crew Coral and Korres No. 45

I saw this post by Em full of tousled hair and coral kissed lips and immediately had to share my latest obsession- Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in No.45. I tried on this smashing coral last time I played (playing is definitely the word!) at Sephora and was immediately smitten. What's your latest lip love, darlings? Do tell!

Inspiration & Insomnia

Today I have pages upon pages of ideas and sandpapery eyes. I couldn't sleep last night; the long, bare fingers of my sketchbook dragged me out of bed until the wee hours of the morning. I'm not sure if it's intense worry or intense inspiration. I keep telling myself something a dear family friend told me, "It's not I hope this works, it's what can I do to make this work." Right, darlings? :)

What do you do when you just can't fall asleep?

Preggo Pretty

Have you seen those awkward preggy portraits where barenaked belly bumps overbear entire photos and distract you from the beauty of it all? Come on ladies, even Demi barely pulled it off. This darling pregnancy shoot by Amelia Lyon should be the benchmark for all baby bump portraits. I'm nowhere near ready to open that chapter, but it truly made my heart melt.

Lauren Moffatt's Printemps Pastels

Good morning, my darlings! How was your weekend? We've had several days of Spring teasers and the weather this weekend was even sweet-tempered enough for us to spend one of our evenings cheers'ing cocktails al fresco. With the hope of Spring around the corner, I've been especially inspired by printemp's pastels. Lauren Moffatt's Spring 2011 collection made quite the blogosphere rounds when it was introduced last fall, but it feels like it's just about time to don these pretty looks versus shivering in your booties and pining for them!

The Signature Ponytail

Do you see the little baby bump? I didn't have time to backcomb so she's only making a small appearance.
Do you like my new polish? It's Essie for J.Crew's Cute as a Button.

After posting about my signature yesterday, I couldn't help but to do it up last night. I was rockin' the day old hair and didn't feel like messing with it before dinner & drinks. Easy, breezy, a few snapped pics, and I was out the door! I'm experimenting with a new big daddy cam, I mean the mother load of of huge cams, and I can't wait to share some pretty pics with you in my Picture Book tomorrow! For now, I'm off to gather up the makings of a pizza party picnic :) Kisses, darlings!

Ombre and the Ponytail

Isn't she the picture of the perfect weekend uniform? I think I even have her tank if it's from American Apparel

Are you known for a certain hairstyle? My friends know me for the "bumped" ponytail. I'd like to think bumped as in more J.Crew and less Snooks. Fortunately my signature 'do (how delightful to have a signature!) is pin-less and sans hairspray. Somehow it just stays? I'm hoping to add a little flair to my so-called "signature" with a little ombre action like Caroline's. My stylist says it's called melting, and we (yes, I'm incapable of making decisions without my stylists' blessing because she is a genius) have decided we're going for it once the weather warms. Do you have a signature? Or better yet, one with a twist?
